Shenzhen H&T Intelligent Control Co.,Ltd. (Here in after referred to as "H&T") was awarded the Carbon Footprint Verification Opinion Statement Certificate by BSI. British Standards Institution (BSI) is the world's leading and most authoritative provider of standards development and international certification and accreditation services. 

H&T has always attached great importance to environmental protection and sustainable development in its daily operation and management process, and has been fulfilling its social responsibility, and environmental protection, energy conservation and emission reduction, and green and sustainable development have always been important management issues for H&T.

In September 2020, the Chinese government stated at the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly that "China will increase its national contribution, adopt more vigorous policies and measures, strive to reach peak CO2 emissions by 2030, and strive to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060". In this regard, H&T also made a positive response, and in March 2021, the production plant of H&T carried out a comprehensive carbon emission inventory, after which the total carbon emission of the company in 2020 was 21,734 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, of which the direct emission was 1,210 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, accounting for 6%; the indirect emission was 20,524 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, accounting for 94%. 

In July 2021, BSI, as an independent third-party institution, verified and validated the company's carbon inventory data disclosure in 2020 and issued an unqualified verification report, stating that the quality of carbon inventory data of production plants of Shenzhen H&T Intelligent Control Co.,Ltdcomplies with ISO 14064-1:2018 standard reasonable assurance level.

As a large electronic R&D and manufacturing enterprise, electricity consumption is the largest source of emission and the focus of energy saving and emission reduction. For this, the company has taken a series of measures, such as regular maintenance or replacement of key energy-consuming equipment such as solder-back furnaces and tin furnaces with new equipment, to fully reduce the power waste for more sustainable operation. At the same time, H&T actively advocates employees to join the energy saving and emission reduction action, and strengthen the staff's knowledge of energy saving and emission reduction to eliminate unnecessary waste of resources and make a contribution to the company's achievement of reducing carbon emission density year by year.
